About Dr. Kanhaiya Mittal
Dr. Kanhaiya Mittal is a seasoned ophthalmologist specializing in complex Vitreo-Retina surgeries, including retinal detachment, macular hole, vasculitis, SFIOL, and lens dislocation. He also excels in managing Uveitis, Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP), and cataract surgery with premium intraocular lenses (IOLs).
Dr. Mittal completed his MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), Delhi, and his MD in Ophthalmology from AIIMS, New Delhi, where he also underwent three years of advanced training in Vitreo-Retina, Uvea, ROP, and cataract surgery. He holds the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) certification, Fellow International College of Ophthalmology (FICO), and MRCS (Ed.) diploma.
With international experience in The Bahamas and the Democratic Republic of Congo, Dr. Mittal is also active in teaching, academic research, and community outreach, advancing ophthalmology on a global scale.
